This collection is the story of Captain Rabbit, a soldier who takes on the challenge of developing robots in a way he has never experienced before. Together with his comrades, they confidently declare "From now on, it's robots!" and work towards robot development. However, due to their lack of experience, things do not go smoothly at first. Captain Rabbit seeks help from Dr. Almirage, who has specialized knowledge in robot development. At first, they can only create useless and mismatched robots. However, after many improvements, they finally succeed in creating a decent robot.
